been working on the new MUNG album cover for a while. might have some samples to show ya later on.
wife woke me up @ 5AM. for no reason at all. [img]graemlins/whatever.gif[/img]

might have to pop into work briefly too.

here's what I have so far, more or less...
it will all be in b/w. most of the text is just there to get the idea across, and is subject to change, apart from the song titles.

the panels with all the little pics will be changed so that there is a large pic of each guy on a panel, and one group shot, with lyrics over top of each.
the front cover may change too, although the concept will remain the same.
anyways, gives you a rough idea...

did you guys already found a company to print and press the cd?

yep, same company that our engineer uses, and he can get us a wicked deal...
you know how the price per cd goes down the more cds you order, right?

well, we're getting the 500 cd price for a 200 cd order...
so, like, instead of $2 per disc, we'll be paying $1.50, or whatever...just made those numbers up to get the idea across.

When I asked for a price for 300 cds and 500 cds there was only a difference of 70$ between 300 and 500 that's why I ended up having 500 made. When you're already over a thousand $ total,
70$ for 200 more cds isn't really an issue.

It costed me about 2,60$ per cd for a 3 colours print on the cd and two colours print on two panel of a 4 panels insert.




I could have saved on a few things (using a big case instead of slim because the slim case assembly is special, having only a two sided panel but i wanted the the two blank panels inside to write messages to friends when I sign there copies) but it is how I wanted it and I was ready to pay for it.
